I am 68 , in recovery 30 years and practice with woman who are going deep in the practice and changing their lives . I am humbled to be able to practice with them.
So, I teach Yin and my best friend teaches power yoga. She says practice with her to work on your body, then practice with Cheryl (me) to heal your mind. We need both to live in this world. Yin compliments all the yang practices and that's what I love.

I love the meditative quality of Yin Yoga. Sometimes sitting still in Meditation can be hard for people, Yin Yoga slows you down so that it ends up being a meditation in slow motion. Yoga Nidra also is a unique way to access this meditative state.
