No time? No problem! Yoga Nidra will meet you where you are. We all know life can sometimes get in the way of our best intentions to practice. The good news is the benefits we receive from Yoga Nidra rely more on consistency than length of time, so if the day is too full for an entire Yoga Nidra session, no need to worry.

You can choose to shorten any Yoga Nidra practice session by tailoring it to meet your needs. Whenever adjusting the length of your session, I suggest still doing the "rotation of awareness" phase. This is typically the third stage of the 5 Kosha Yoga Nidra framework and is an essential part of the Yoga Nidra journey. It invites us to internally orient our attention by systematically and quickly bringing an unattached awareness to the different parts of our body. As we withdraw our senses from the external world through this process, our awareness moves further inward into the deeper layers of ourselves, naturally bringing about an effortless state of relaxation.

You might try this complimentary 20-minute guided meditation relaxation "Deep Relaxation in the Sonoran Desert" practice or adjust any of the other longer sessions on my YouTube Channel @sagelurlacher.

You might also enjoy my book- The Book of Yoga Nidra Meditation Scripts: 30 Yoga Nidra Scripts for Deep Relaxation, Inner Peace, & Manifesting Your Joy, available on Amazon. Filled with beautiful visualizations and imagery, the scripts are in an easy-to-follow layout for effortless delivery and script adaptability.

Remember that just like all of our Yoga techniques, Yoga Nidra will bring us the richest, longest-lasting benefits when practiced regularly with diligence and loving patience over time 🕊
